Meetings
Sit Down for a Meeting and be Surrounded by a Piece of Vermont History
Where else but the West Monitor Barn can you wrap up that PowerPoint presentation, push back from the rough-hewn conference table, and step out the back door to beautiful grassy meadows perfect for a barbecue lunch, team building activities, or a hike on miles of preserved land?
We know you have business to do before enjoying the surrounding scenery and our variety of meeting spaces are perfect to get the job done! Whether you’re hosting an intimate conference for 5 or a seminar for 200, the West Monitor Barn is an affordable option for your next meeting. Each meeting room has a variety of set-up options available.
Hay Mow Room
The historic Hay Mow is our largest sized meeting/conference room measuring 4125 square feet and includes the use of twenty 5ft round tables and 200 black folding chairs. These tables can individually seat up to eight people comfortably or be combined. There is a very large variety of set-up options available for this room.
Board Room
The Board Room is our smaller sized meeting room measuring 17’ x 18’ and includes two rectangular tables. These tables can be utilized individually or combined to create a single, larger table with a total comfortable seating capacity of 10-12. Additional perimeter seating in the Board Room is not recommended.
Conservation Room
The Conservation Room is our medium sized meeting room measuring 17’ x 28’ and includes four rectangular tables. These tables can be utilized individually or combined to create a single, larger table with a total comfortable seating capacity of 15 – 20. Up to 20 additional persons can be accommodated with the supplemental perimeter seating.
Conveniently located between Montpelier and Burlington, the West Monitor Barn is the perfect place to meet in the middle.
Non-Wedding Rental Rates for barn rentals are between $500-$3,000 based on your needs, space and amenities.
